This vitrine was made to house the clients scale model Formula one cars replicas whilst also functioning as a coffee table. The client had already sourced green slate plinths from the Honister slate mine in the Lake District and wanted more slate to be incorporated into the design. Two additional riven slate panels set underneath the glass were added to tie the different elements of the design together .

Crafted in European Oak, European Brown Oak, ‘Honister’ green slate and toughened glass.
